Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) device ulcer refers to a gastric ulcer caused by excessive sinking syndrome or Buried Bumper Syndrome (BBS), in which the internal anchoring button of the tube dislodges and compresses the gastric mucosa, causing an ischemic ulcer.
This patient was admitted for melena and endoscopy revealed a Forrest IIc gastric ulcer.
